Non Exec Director & Co - Founder
Danielle Semple
Danielle came into the world of food and farming after studying Geography at University and more specifically earthworms and soil health. She started her career at FarmED as an intern, helping form Emergent Generation from day 1, and is now Engagement and Communications Officer at the Woodland Trust. She is keen to help as many young people find their passion and voice within the agroecological movement. Danielle recently stepped up to be a Non-Exec Director of Emergent Generation.

Non Exec Director & Co - Founder
Tristan Leslie
Tristan works for FAI Farms helping to manage their organic, regenerative farm. He also works for Soilmentor - delivering workshops on soil health to farmers nationally, and works with local farm clusters to create soil management plans.
He became interested in regenerative agriculture during lockdown, and has been part of Emergent Generation ever since. Tristan is a young member of the steering group and helps lead on events. He also recently stepped up to be a Non-Exec Director of Emergent Generation.

Bogi Bozsogi
Bogi works as Research & Innovation Officer at IFOAM Organics Europe. Previously, she worked at Agroecology Europe as Communications & Policy Officer. Bogi holds an MS in Foreign Service (Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.) and an MA in International Relations (University of Birmingham, UK). She is passionate about the power of food and agriculture to bring about systemic change. She found Emergent Generation as a grounding community for this personal mission. Bogi is now the Steering Group Lead and leads on events.

Steering Group Deputy & Co - Founder
Giacomo Ranalli
Member of EG since its early days, Giacomo comes from Rome, but he is based in London where he works as a sustainable agrifood consultant.
He became passionate about regenerative agriculture reading Dan Barber’s ‘The third plate’ and developed a deep interest for sustainable food supply chains and food systems. Aside from food - he loves tennis, electronic music and travelling. Giacomo is our steering group deputy and helps lead on events.

Director / Co - Founder & Farming Lead
Jonty Brunyee
Jonty has 30 years experience in farming, food and environmental management. He is an organic and pasture fed tenant farmer in the Cotswolds with his wife Mel, and an agroecological and regenerative educator, adviser and mentor.
Jonty is a Nuffield Farming Scholar and the former Head of Sustainable Farming and Food Systems at FarmED. He co-founded Emergent Generation in 2022 and is a Director of the CIC. ​​​

Director / Co - Founder & Comms Lead
Becky Grove
After working in film production and commercial advertising for 15 years, Becky took an MA in Social Entrepreneurship in 2019 focusing on innovating careers education for land-based skills.
As a result, Becky created 'Grounders', a programme for young people that combined seasonal jobs with food and farming education. This led her to FarmED, where she co-founded Emergent Generation in 2022. She is a Director of the CIC. Read more here.​​

Communications & Events Assistant
Tommy O'Donnell
Tommy joins us fresh out of his Level 3 Diploma in Regenerative Agriculture from Black Mountains College. He is passionate about combining academic research in social policy and food systems with hands-on, land-based practice. Translating complex ideas into clear, accessible insights for diverse audiences is his thing. Tommy brings experience as a Communications Officer at Feeding Britain and Trainee Grower at Primrose Organic Farm. We think it's very cool that at one point he was a Pre-Doctoral Research Assistant in the MIT Department of Economics, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Clare Langrish-Topp
Clare works as Science & Technical Consultant at FAI Farms. She loves learning about and promoting how we can work with nature and restore degraded ecosystems whilst producing healthy nutritious food.
Clare is particularly interested in the connections between soil, plant, animal and human health. She has developed the member profiles page, represents us on the IFOAM Organics Europe Youth Network, helps us manage events and important behind the scenes stuff too. She is now a member of our steering group.

Mitch Green
Mitch is a Stockman, experienced in holistic planned grazing and regenerative cattle genetics. He is also the founder and facilitator of Emergent Generation's Speakers' Corner, aimed at helping members catch-up, share their passion and practice public speaking. Previously, Mitch studied BSc Zoology and MSc Sustainable Food Systems and is passionate about facilitating communication, connection and dialogue to drive local food system transformation. He is also a member of the steering group.

Gloira Loriya
Gloria is a passionate expert in food security, nutrition, gender equity, and climate action, dedicated to strengthening equitable and resilient food systems. With roots in West Pokot, Kenya, she brings unique lived insight into her work. She strategically integrates indigenous knowledge with global frameworks for sustainable development. Gloria has represented youth and indigenous perspectives at international forums, including UNEA & COP2. She plays an active role in empowering young voices with the UK Farming & Food Youth Forum and beyond.

Elva King
Elva King is an environmental professional following an MSc Environmental Technology student at Imperial College London. Her focus has been on bridging natural science with sustainable finance and land-use outcomes. As an Analyst at Finance Earth, she supports natural capital investment advisory projects that integrate biodiversity metrics, financial modelling, and green infrastructure to deliver positive environmental and community impact. Elva has helped to curate our newsletter for a few years now and ran our first ever supper club back in the autumn.

Francesca Vuolo
Francesca is a passionate advocate for nutrition, food sovereignty, and equitable food systems, grounded in her interest in agroecology and agroforestry. She has two degrees, accredited by the Association for Nutrition, BSc (Hons) in Nutrition, and a MSc in Nutrition and Behaviour. On top of this she's also recently completed the Level 3 Diploma in Regenerative Agriculture from Black Mountains College and is actively exploring opportunities within the nutrition and agroecological food space.
Francesca has recently joined our steering group helping out with curating and promoting events. ​​​

Róisín Henman-Kyle
Roísín is particularly interested in systems change and storytelling, with a focus on agroecology and the everyday joys of cooking and sharing food. Alongside these interests is a passion for craft and ethical fashion, which led her to studying an MA in Sustainable Fashion. She currently works on an agroforestry farm while completing her studies, learning from the practical, social, and ecological rhythms of land-based work. Roísín is brilliant at graphics so is helping us to bring some of our events to life as well as other Em Gen tasks on the steering group.
