Our Impact
We are very excited to release our first official annual impact report that we signed off as a team at our strategy and development meeting this January. Click on the image to access the full report (this will be live in a few days time!).

What Evaluation Helps Us Do:

-
Measure the difference our work makes
-
Learn what works well (and what doesn’t)
-
Ensure our work reflects our values and ethos
-
Check we’re meeting members’ needs
-
Understand who we reach, and where gaps remain
-
Inform improvements, growth and sustainability
-
Share clear impact reporting with members and funders
How We Do It:

-
A co-designed evaluation framework developed with our team and steering group
-
A clear Theory of Change linking our activities to outcomes
-
Surveys, interviews, polls - collecting qualitative and quantitative data.
-
Peer evaluators (members and co-founders) gathering learning at events
-
Annual Learning to Action sessions to reflect and plan next steps

Our Impact

Thanks to the support we’re receiving from Esmeé Fairburn, we are developing our approach to measuring the impact of the work we do.

Because our work is youth-led and always evolving, our approach to impact is iterative. We learn, adapt and improve year-on-year.

‘I always love coming to em gen events and find them so uplifting and energizing. This was my third summer gathering and the first time I took part as a speaker in one of the sessions. I normally completely avoid public speaking but because of the community em gen has created I felt safe to present, and to use it as an opportunity to practice and develop my presentation skills. ‘
