We had a wonderful time at the first ever Emergent Generation Supper Club last Thursday, 27 November, at Dovedales Bakery in Peckham.

The evening brought together 40 young food and farming enthusiasts to celebrate outstanding produce sourced from our very own Emergent Generation members. Farmers sat alongside food lovers, and every bite had a story.

With chefs Luke Crisp Co-Founder of The Fill and Zoë Davis, Private Chef and Food Course Coordinator, Groundschool at the helm - we knew a delicious meal was in store. They delivered beautifully. Harry was a wonderful sous-chef and Giacomo and Elva kept front of house running seamlessly.
"It was so fun to create and cook this menu. Using the fantastic ingredients sourced from Emergent Generation members made it really special, especially seeing them also dining at the table." - Zoë Davis, Chef.
We were also joined by Stevie Back, Grower and Community Engagement Coordinator at Sitopia , and Harvey Dunn, Beef Farmer at Haythorn Cattle., who shared the stories behind the ingredients they contributed. A big shout-out to Ashia for sourcing high quality venison and to Cai Tudor for supplying tasty apples.

We were thrilled to welcome India Stibilj, founder of Communi.Table, who recently released a recipe book celebrating her relationships with local farmers. Thank you India for all the helpful tips that enabled us to pull off this first Em Gen Supper Club.
The warmth, flavour and spirit of connection made it a night to remember. Around the table were long-standing members, new faces and friends we hadn’t seen in ages. Thanks to everyone who joined us - together we took another meaningful step in deepening the connection between town and country.
Until next time!!!
