About the event
About the event
We’ve long been inspired by the thriving community-powered food system emerging in Bristol, and we’re excited to spend a day visiting some of the city’s pioneering projects and people.
We’ll meet at the lovely Bridge Farm Community, a thriving urban farm dedicated to living with the land, in community. This innovative farm works slowly and sensitively with the earth, trees, flowers, vegetables, fruit and animals working alongside wildlife corridors.
If the weather is kind, we’ll take a walk with Street Goat - the cooperative that has brought goats to the streets of Bristol. This urban goat farming collective aims to connect communities to sustainable food production and regenerative land management. They produce raw milk dairying and meat on a micro-scale, while giving local people a hands-on connection to animals, land stewardship, and cooperative farming models.

Street Goat is a volunteer-powered project using goats to manage urban landscapes through conservation…
