Join us in Bristol for a day of inspiration with young people from the Em Gen network. We’ll take a walk with urban goat farming collective, Street Goat and learn about what they do and why. We’ll also meet other inspiring folk that bring farming, food and community together in the city.

We’ve long been inspired by the thriving community-powered food system emerging in Bristol, and we’re excited to spend a day visiting some of the city’s pioneering projects.


We’ll meet at Bridge Farm Community, a thriving urban farm dedicated to living with the land, in community. This innovative farm works slowly and sensitively with the earth, trees, flowers, vegetables, fruit and animals working alongside wildlife corridors. Old buildings are being restored for habitation and new buildings are being envisioned for truly affordable self-build housing. It also is a space for education, gatherings and celebrations. 


If the weather is kind, we’ll then take a walk with the cooperative that has brought goats to the streets of Bristol - Street Goat. This urban goat farming collective aims to connect communities to sustainable food production and regenerative land management. They produce raw milk dairying and meat on a micro-scale, while giving local people…
