Emergent Generation Summer Gathering

Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th September 2024. Conygree Farm – Gloucestershire.

If you are 18-35 and passionate about sustainability in the food system, this unique and inspiring two-day event in the Cotswolds is for you! Join us and learn more about agroecology and regenerative thinking, connect with like-minded people, gain confidence, and share knowledge.

Learn from a range of inspiring speakers and peers and get out onto the farm. There will be practical workshops including sessions on leadership and communication, diversity and inclusion, soil health, and owl conservation; a screening of Six Inches of Soil (in which we feature); a farm and market garden tour, and a visit to another pioneering farm nearby. There will also be great local food, morning yoga sessions, and time to party!

Our hosts, National Trust tenant farmers Jonty and Mel Brunyee invite you to Conygree Farm, their 180-acre organic, pasture-fed, and regenerative farm and market garden. We will gather in their giant tipi event space and threshing barn. You are encouraged to stay on site—camping and glamping options are available.

All are welcome at our events, we love to see faces old and new. You don't have to have big, bold ideas and we respect that everyone is at a different stage of their journey. By having conversations and sharing experiences, we grow together.

Accommodation

Participants can stay on site at Conygree. Set up your own tent or glamp in a luxurious double-bedded bell tent (suitable for single, double, or twin occupancy). If you book a bell tent all you need to bring is your sleeping bag, pillow and towel. Campers and glampers at Conygree will have access to water and bathroom/shower facilities. Breakfast is provided.  Arrive from 13:00 on Thursday and leave on Saturday morning (or Sunday if staying for the Harvest Festival). 

If none of these options suit you, there are plenty of bed & breakfast and hotels in the area you can book. 

Food

Tickets include all your food and refreshments during the event. We use organic food from the farm and local area where possible. Please tell us your dietary requirements when you book. Just bring your water bottle, an extra snack if you wish, and your own alcohol if you would like a drink by the firepit on Thursday and Friday night.

Travel

You will make your way to Conygree in good time for the start of the event. We encourage you to use public transport or car share where possible. Kingham, Kemble, and Cheltenham are the nearest train stations (all about a 30-minute drive from the farm). Northleach is the nearest town with occasional buses from Cheltenham and Oxford. We will facilitate lift sharing once we have final numbers and participant details. Let us know at registration and we will endeavor to secure a lift for you.

Extend Your Stay

All Emergent Generation participants are invited to the legendary Conygree Farm Harvest Festival on Saturday night! There will be live music, bar, food, a ceilidh, and DJ. What a great way to round off our event! 

To Book

Please book your tickets as soon as possible, as spaces are limited.

First book your event ticket. Choose either the Emergent Generation event only (Thursday to Saturday) or Emergent Generation event + Harvest Fest (Thursday to Sunday).

Then book your accommodation if needed. Choose two nights camping (priced per person) or two nights in a double bell tent (priced per bell) if coming to the event only. 

Choose three nights camping or three nights in a double bell tent if coming to the Harvest Festival on Saturday too.
