About the event
Join us for an autumn farm walk at Good Small Farms at Hammonds Farm in Stroud, Gloucestershire on Saturday 24 October. After a busy and dry summer, this is a chance to spend time with other Em Gen members, enjoy some local food and meet a team farming in harmony with nature.
Come and see how enterprises can be stacked into one beautifully diverse farming system!
We will start at the award winning Stroud Farmers Market - one of the biggest and busiest farmers' markets in the UK, with over 50 stalls selling fresh local food, organic vegetables, meat, cheese, bread, and crafts. One of the Em Gen Directors, Becky, will be there to greet you.
We’ll begin the day with refreshing chats before Eric Walters, founder of Good Small Farms, meets us at his market stall to walk with us to the farm ~15 mins away.
When we arrive at Hammonds…
