Educational/training highlights
Had the fortunate opportunity to volunteer with conservation organisations such as Knepp, gaining valuable experience in the field and helping decipher the sector. I then undertook a master in biodiversity, conservation, and management with the view to work on helping produce nature recovery in the UK. This quickly brought me into contact with regenerative agriculture and the potential of the movement to help achieve many stacked benefits for various stakeholders. A definite highlight was gaining experience as a regenerative farm hand looking after a mob grazing herd of cattle!
Knowledge signposts
Why I joined EmGen
To find community, altogether supporting and promoting a more regenerative future.
How I can support other members
By finding community and warmly extending this invitation to anyone who might want to participate, we can build a movement that can genuinely and justly help produce better outcomes for ourselves, and the planet.
My next steps
To find others of a similar nature recovery mindset that can help incorporate all the needed land uses into a coherent map/model that can help produce better outcomes for UK nature in future.
